Fall Home Tour 2018

It's finally that time of year for cozy everything!! YES! I'm talking all the cozy blankets, sweaters, pillows, and more! I've joined a group of talented fellow blogger friends for a fun, fall blog hop showcasing fall decor in our homes. Be sure to check out all their posts linked at the end of my home tour!

Let's start with my entryway! This year I really didn't purchase a bunch of new items to decorate with. I mainly incorporated items I already had and found a new way to style them. This sign, however is new! It's from Words to Live by Signs and it's sooo perfect! The best part..it's two sided. The other side says "Peace on Earth" to use in your Christmas decorating. GENIUS!! I've linked it HERE for you! I hung it on my mirror turned schoolhouse chalkboard and added some grapevines staggered on the side. I used these grapevines last fall on my fall table with pumpkins in the middle of them.

I made the fabric pumpkins (above) last fall and these pumpkins below are made out of tree bark! How cool is that?! They are one of my favorite fall things.

Moving onto my living room..these antique doors really inspired me to change up this whole space this year. I added this adorable "hoop wreath" from Hoops by Rae to the front of the doors. She has several different hoop wreath designs for fall and just for everyday. You can find one for yourself HERE!

I added some simple pampas grass to an old amber bottle and added some fall colors with this green pillow and striped blanket. This is my new, favorite corner!

I got this cute, little "pumpkin spice" pillow last fall from Lisa at Farmhouse on Boone. You can find it in her shop HERE!

I kept my bookcase simple and just added some twinkle lights and green vases along with some antlers.

I also kept it simple on my coffee table with some real cotton and a basket of pumpkins!

This pillow below that reads "pumpkin kisses harvest wishes" is from CB Creations. It actually interchangeable panels that you can switch out from season to season! I've linked it HERE!

I added some simple greenery with some berries on my mantle. I found these candlestick holders at a flea market last year for $1 each!

In my dining room I used a bunch of natural looking stems to create a centerpiece and added some amber colored drinking glasses I scored at a local vintage store!

Of course I had to get all my amber bottles out! I have plenty more where these came from.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the tour! I'd love to know your thoughts below and don't forget to check out my friends lovely homes too!

    1. Thank you Cindy! I didn't make the tree bark ones, I actually found them at a local junk store!

  4. Love your Fall decor, Daraka! And I am absolutely dying over your collection of oil paintings!!

  5. So beautiful and I want to go through and just touch everything, lol! It looks so inviting and cozy.

  6. I love all of the fall touches you added to your home! I looks so warm and inviting! Thank you for sharing it with us!

  7. Gratitude for the fall home tour. All of the décor is super nice. These photos just made my day because I can use some of these inspirations for the fall inspired sweet 16th birthday bash of my sister that I am planning to host at one of the prettiest event venues in Chicago.

  8. Cozy, just like I like to be during the cold season.
This looks lovely and I felt inspired to do this kind of decor around the house. The only difference is that I indulged in a much desired Mid Century piece, my Eames chair. I got it from manhattanhomedesign.com and it was the best self-gift I've had.
My home has a different pallet, more wood that greens or whites, but adding a blanket to that chair made the whole difference.
You made a great point with pinecones and branches, it definitely looks fall-winter.
Thank you so much for putting so much effort in your projects and your blog, I really appreciate it as a reader.

  9. Many thanks to the person who made this post, this was very informative for me. Please continue this awesome work
