Master Bedroom Makeover | Week 2

Hey friends! It's week 2 of the One Room Challenge and we still have a long way to go. We started on our wall behind our bed using planks from My Timber Wall. I chose the Vintage Collection in Magnolia White.

They are so easy to install! They link together then we are nailing them to the wall with the nail gun. We are using 2 pennies to make a slight gap in between to look more like ship lap.

We are only installing the wood panels to the wall that will be behind our bed. The other walls will be painted white. We plan on finishing up this week with the focal wall and painting. Then getting the bed put back in place to I can start on the decorating!

I found two of these matching night stands at a garage sale a couple years ago and I have been saving them for our master. I haven't made up my mind yet on whether or not to paint them white but they are gorgeous either way.

Be sure to come back next week for more progress! I have a dresser to paint as well so this will be the week of painting!

  1. Capable of sinking thousands of nails a day with no effort, a nailing gun is one of the best tools you can buy, saving you time and aggravation. Find the best pin nailers for yourself.
